The Frank R. Williams Scholarship Fund was created to address the financial needs of student athletes pursuing higher education. Since 2006, the Fund has awarded 22 annual scholarships to deserving seniors at Calvin Coolidge Senior High School in Washington, D.C. Scholarship awardees display success on the field, exhibit strong leadership qualities and demonstrate a commitment to education and community service.

Through fund-raising events such as our annual Two-Mile Fun Walk, Dine with a Cause, Golf with a Cause and others, we plan to expand our efforts to prepare students for college success including:

• creating a sustainable scholarship by sponsoring students throughout their college tenure 

• offering college preparation workshops to develop writing and interviewing skills

• assisting students in navigating the transition to college life

• providing mentorship opportunities for students
